I have been a part of more scams that I can actually count, and that’s because they aren’t easy to spot.
Scams are created to look professional, clean, and easy-to-navigate so even newbies can use them with no problems.
And that worries me. People are creating scams and taking advantage of unknowledgeable newbies.
In this 8 Minute Profits review I am going to see if it is a scam or legit opportunity, and then let you decide whether or not you want to move forward with this system.

About 8 Minute Profits 2.0
Who Created this System
Mark Barrett is the man behind this system.
He is a well-known Australian internet marketer that rose to the top after failing for a number of years, and a highly valuable member of the Warrior Forum.
He now does internet marketing full-time, which is by creating little systems such as the 8 Minute Profits 2.0 and marketing them off to his huge email list.
Paul Prissick is the co-creator of this system. Sadly, I do not know much about this internet marketer just yet, but that shall change soon.
I do have a good grasp of Mark Barrett though, and it’s not a good one.
When did it Launch
The 2.0 version of this system launched on the 27th, April 2017, and not really that much different to the first one.
Why did they Create it?
I am not 100% sure WHY they created 8 Minute Profits 2.0, but if I had to guess it would be to sell another garbage product like Mark Barrett’s 7 Dollar Tsunami that I’ve personally tried in the past.
No, I am not a big fan of this man whatsoever.
Upon landing on their website you are bombarded with numbers, which is to make you believe you can also earn s$323.15 in literally 8 minutes.
He promises that you will not be using any of these:
- No Facebook
- No PPC
- No PPV
- No solo ads
- No YouTube
- No SEO or ranking websites
- No offline work
Even without using any of these you can still receive instant traffic.
So let’s see exactly how he does it.
What Is 8 Minute Profits 2.0
Mark Barrett makes an emphasis on not hanging out where all the other aspiring internet marketers are (FB groups, forums, the same old blogs, etc), so he uses traffic exchanges, the “untapped” traffic that we will be using.
But there is a big flaw.
Traffic exchanges are indeed used by other internet marketers.
They are trying to make a quick buck just like everyone else using them.
I know because I’ve tried to leverage the traffic from traffic exchanges plenty of times. They don’t actually care what you have to offer.
Now that you know where the traffic is coming from, lets talk about what you are actually offering to these people.
You will be using affiliate marketing to make your money, and more than likely going to be 8 Minute Profits itself.
To put it simply, affiliate marketing is the act of promoting somebody else’s product and earning a commission, exactly how it works in real estate or car dealership.
Yes, affiliate marketing does work but the traffic you’ll be promoting to are just not interested.
And that’s the biggest flaw.
Without targeted traffic there is no money being made.
How it all Works
There are thousands of traffic exchange websites to sign up to, all are free to join and use.
Basically, you put your affiliate link into these traffic exchanges and begin surfing them.
You gain 1 credit for every site surfed.
Now when you have credits you will have other people looking at your page.
For example, 1000 credits = 1000 views to your offer, which is your affiliate link.
When people click and buy, you make a commission.
Are People Really Making Money?
The people making money are the ones promoting the hell out of this product, and NOT with the traffic exchange method either!
The ones making money all have massive email lists.
They already know what they are doing within the online marketing space and they are taking advantage of newbies.
So to answer this question:
No, people aren’t actually making with the methods inside 8 Minute Profits.
Yes, people are marketing this product through their email lists and making profits.
They aren’t using the methods inside, they are getting a commission for every sale on the system.
They are 2 different things.
Any Alarm Bells?
There are too much to count to be honest with you.
But I will list the ones that made me chuckle the most.
- Earning $323.15 in 8 minutes
- Traffic exchanges are “unheard of”. They apparently change everything
- $200-$600 to his bank account everyday, which is from him marketing this and other systems to his email lists
- Traffic from traffic exchanges aren’t getting bombarded with offers. (Really, so what do we call our offer we’re promoting to them then?)
- It is a cash machine and money flows to your bank account with a click of a mouse
These are just a few of the many alarm bells.
Although when I heard the name Mark Barrett I already had a bad feeling about it.
What is the Price to join?
The price to join the basic course is $17.
However, there is a total of 3 upsells.
$27, $27, and $197.
I’m not a big fan of upsells unless they’re beneficial to the user. These ones are not.
Pros and Cons
- Shows you how to use Traffic Exchanges
- Can market the program itself if you have a huge list or website getting traffic (I’m sure it converts well on desperate people)
- Too many upsells
- The course doesn’t even work, and you have to pay the $197 upsell for a detailed version
- It is all hype
- Garbage traffic source
Is 8 Minute Profits Scam?
It is newbie-friendly and easy-to-navigate. However, the method does not work and that is the biggest problem here.
Traffic exchanges are used by people in the exact same boat as you – people trying to make money online.
They aren’t there to see the latest and greatest shiny object, because all they care about is trying to market their own shiny object.
That is how it works and why nobody will be making a dime from 8 Minute Profits or traffic exchanges.
Furthermore, the main aim for people is to market the actual system itself. Nobody is using the methods inside the course to make their money.
What does this mean?
The “traffic exchange method” is a disguise. The whole system is a pyramid scheme.
And that makes this system a SCAM!
My Final Opinion & Recommendation
Mark Barret and Paul Prissick know exactly what they are doing.
They know their system doesn’t work and they know they can target desperate people trying to make money online.
Simply by using words like “cash machine, no waiting, profit in 8 minutes, 100% FREE traffic, and simple method”, they can have desperate people wrapped around their little fingers, and they do.
Anyone desperate and new to the internet marketing game will fall for this scam right from the get-go and be even more out of pocket than before.
That is my opinion and why you need to stay away from 8 Minute Profits 2.0 at all costs.
Actually, if you’re serious about making a real internet business I highly recommend Wealthy Affiliate.
After all the scams I finally came to the conclusion that success doesn’t come overnight, in a week, and most especially not in 8 minutes!
Success comes with hard work and dedication, and exactly why people that promise you lots of money in a small amount of time is a scammer (Mark Barrett & Paul Prissick).
The Wealthy Affiliate includes a free trial so you can check it all out and see if its right for you or not.
Well thanks for reading my 8 Minute Profits 2.0 review.
Whatever you do I wish you all the best in your online ventures and hopefully you can find the same success as I have.
