Chris Farrell Membership Review – Is CFM a Scam?

  • by

Chris Farrell claims to have the best training for creating a web business.

He says you do not need any prior experience to become successful with his training platform.

Before we move forward, I would like to say that many gurus claim this and the ones that believe it are newbies and the desperate.

The tactics he is using is nothing new, as we’ve all seen it before…but what makes CFM different from the rest?

Hopefully after this review, we all have a better understanding of Chris Farrell Membership and if it’s really worth your time and money.

Chris Farrell Membership Claims

The owners name is Chris Farrell and claims to have the #1 voted online income service and has held that title for 4 years.

This was a huge claim to see since I’ve been in the internet marketing game for 5 years now and have never heard of this guy or this system.

Upon further investigation, the domain name was only created in 2017!

He also claims that 23000 people have used this system and found great success with it.

Lets see how true these claims are!

What Exactly Is Chris Farrell Membership?

Chris Farrell Membership is designed to help beginners learn the ins and outs to internet marketing.

He explains in detail what you’ll be doing in the introduction section and has lots of training so you know exactly what and why you’re doing things.

There is a lot of training inside the membership area, but the main focus is on affiliate marketing and email marketing.

Because when you combine those two together, lots of money can be made.

But just because it works, doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy.

Thankfully the videos are set out in a step-by-step manner and under 10 minutes long so you don’t get overwhelmed with everything.

Here’s the rundown of email marketing.

  • Choose a niche
  • Send traffic to your offer/landing page
  • Offer something enticing in exchange for their email address (usually a free product)
  • They enter their email address
  • Send them frequent emails and promotions
  • Make money

This concept is legit and has been around since the beginning of the internet.

However, it is not as easy as it sounds because the average person receives up to 100 emails per day.

You have to do something extraordinary to stand out.

But basically that’s the gist of email marketing.

Inside the Members Area

You will receive a total of 5 training modules for your membership.

The Training

1. Getting Started – An introduction to email marketing + affiliate marketing. This is done by choosing a niche, building a list and marketing products to your list.

2. 10 Minutes to Success – This module has a total of 31 videos all under 10 minutes long. It walks you through the process of choosing a niche, finding a hosting and domain name for your website, creating an email campaign, choosing products and generating traffic.

3. Money Making Labs – This part contains additional training. You will learn how to use Facebook ads, how to get traffic with video marketing, how to create e-books for additional traffic and much more.

4. I love Traffic – You will learn lots of information about traffic. Getting targeted traffic is the driving force of your business, so it’s good to see that there’s an entire module about it. They teach you how to get traffic via paid advertising, guest blogging, forum marketing, video marketing and more.

5. Live Webinars – Another cool thing about CFM is that they offer live Webinars which you can watch as much as you want.

Resources Page

In the members area you will also find a resources page where Chris lists his favorite tools and resources for internet marketing.

Bare in mind that the tools he recommends contain affiliate links, allowing Chris to earn a commission every time you click and make a purchase.

These recommendations are mandatory for your online business to work.

Basically, additional costs he speaks nothing of until it’s time to get it at the last second…

One is called Aweber and you need that for your email campaign.

Another is for a domain name and web hosting to host your website.

After paying the initial $37 you could be around $200 deep, so keep that in mind before diving in thinking $37 is all you’ll have to pay.

Forums

The forum inside CFM creates a community and allows you to get help in case you need it.

However, this would actually be a great idea if the community was active.

I have no problems calling it a dead forum as it gets piss-poor views and replies.

You’re lucky to get 5 views on your thread and don’t even get me started on the replies.

The Upsells

I know, I bet you were waiting for the inevitable upsells, it was only a matter of time.

Once you’re inside you will be presented with a couple of upsells.

Chris will constantly push these upsells on to you even in email promotions because he wants to squeeze as much money out of you as possible.

Upsell #1 – $37 Email Marketing eBook

One of the upsells is an eBook that teaches you more advanced techniques about email marketing.

Chris shares some of his best work in this eBook so it’s not a complete waste of money, unlike the personal coaching (in my opinion).

Upsell #2 – $997 Personal Coaching from Chris

Yes you can get personal coaching from the man himself, Chris Farrell.

However, this is highly expensive even for the average internet marketer.

The quality of the coaching probably isn’t even good considering he can’t even update his product or stay active within the community.

If you’re a beginner to the online world, I would not recommend the private coaching as you’re better off going through the training first and getting a grasp of how money is made via email marketing.

What I Like

I like that the training is easy to follow and set out in a step-by-step manner.

The step-by-step training makes it easy for newbies to learn what internet marketing is and how to make money online.

Email marketing is one of the best ways to make 5 figures/month, so it’s good to see that CFM emphasizes this.

What I Don’t Like

They don’t teach anything about organic traffic from the search engines.

This is called SEO and it’s one of the best traffic sources on the internet.

Something else I dislike is that there are only 7 webinars to watch and it doesn’t look like anymore will be released in the near future (if at all).

Also some of the training is outdated which is going to make it difficult, if you’re a newbie, knowing what still works and what doesn’t work in 2019 and beyond.

Considering this system has been released for a long time makes me think the owner is not being active on the site anymore.

This would’ve been a great system for newbies if the owner stayed active, continued to host live webinars and more importantly updated the training to keep up with today’s ever-changing algorithm updates.

Price & Purchase Details

The price of CFM is $37 per month, or you can pay $297 per year and receive a 33% discount.

The first 7 days only costs $4.95 and gets your foot in the door so you know if it’s right for you or not.

There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Good training
  • Set out for newbies to easily understand
  • The owner (Chris Farrell) is real and doesn’t try to hide his identity
  • The owner has your best interest at heart
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

Cons

  • Slowly on the decline as there isn’t much people joining
  • Not much people active on the site anymore. There’s roughly 40 members online at a time which is alarming for a system supposedly “popular”
  • Some of the training is outdated and it’s only going to get worse as the months and years go by
  • Lots of hidden costs

The Verdict

To be honest, there isn’t much hype on the sales page and I like that about Chris Farrell Membership.

The owner is genuine and he really does want to help you grow your own online business.

However, the sad part is that there’s signs of it being on the decline.

The forums are dead, there is no new webinars and the content is becoming outdated.

Not to mention that you’ll need to invest even more money to purchase tools such as website hosting, a domain name and email responder for email marketing.

Other than those cons, CFM is definitely legit and a great training platform for newbies to learn the basics of internet marketing.

What I Recommend

A successful online training platform requires live training support, personal help from the owner and frequent updates.

You won’t receive that at Chris Farrell Membership.

My recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate.

It’s where I learnt to create my first successful business and I have yet to see anything come close to it.

As you can see from the comparison chart above, you’re much better off choosing a training platform like Wealthy Affiliate.

There is ACTUALLY a free trial, the training is always updated, the community is active and you can get instant support within 2-5 minutes from the community.

Otherwise receive a response from the owner himself within 24-48 hours!

Well that concludes my Chris Farrell Membership review and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried CFM or thinking of trying it.

Thanks.
