Is MySurvey a Scam or Legit Survey Site?

Is MySurvey the real deal and are they going to pay you for completing surveys like they promise?

I just reviewed a survey site that I thought was the biggest survey scam in 2019, so what makes this one different?

Well I know for a fact that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and that the internet never fails to deliver scams and false promises.

MySurvey promises a fun way to make money online and they have a cool looking website to go with it.

That’s all fine and dandy, but the legitimacy of this program is what I’m looking for the most, because anyone can say they have a system to make you lots of money but really do not.

So lets get started with this review and see what we can dig up.

Unsustainable and full of glitches
  • Legitimacy
  • Earnings Potential
  • Growth Potential
  • Customer Service
2.3

Summary:

MySurvey is all about completing surveys for rewards such as money, gift cards, e-vouchers and even phsyical products.

Cons

  • It’s full of glitches and causes people to get kicked out of surveys often

The Claims

These people claim you can have fun just by completing surveys.

MySurvey claim they are the worlds #1 paid survey website, but in my opinion, every survey site I come across claim this.

They say you can voice your opinion and get rewarded for it, and that it’s the easiest way to make free money online.

I kind of agree that survey sites are easy money but it’s certainly not a lot of money.

But enough of that, lets see who are behind the scenes of this website.

About MySurvey

Launched back in 1997, they are one of the longest running survey sites and currently have 4 million members in 40 countries.

They have won over 200 awards and rewarded over 32 million US dollars in 2014 alone.

MySurvey is owned by WPP who are the leading group in communication services.

According to their website, MySurvey has been collecting opinions since 1946!

Now that is impressive.

What is MySurvey?

It is an online website where consumers (you) complete surveys and earn rewards for providing your voice and opinion.

These rewards range from gift cards, money, vouchers, e-certificates and much more, but I’ll talk more about the rewards shortly.

However, it’s not just a matter of providing your email address and doing surveys, as they need to know a few basic questions about you to determine what surveys they need to send you.

Once you sign up you will be taken to a questionnaire where you have to fill out 10 personal questions which lets them know more about you.

When you have completed these questions you can now go on and fill out surveys for rewards.

The Points & Rewards System

The Points

Now keep in mind that 1200 points = $10, and that is the minimum withdrawal amount.

However, if you want to donate these points to one of their partnerships, this can be done at a lower amount of 1100.

Basic surveys will earn you a different amount of points but your earnings increase the longer the survey takes to complete and the difficulty level.

Other ways to earn points is by participating in diaries, product testing and referring friends.

Referring a friend will instantly give you 150 points!

Keep in mind that the surveys give you the least amount of points, referrals give you the second highest and product tests give you the most.

However, product tests are not always available and can take a long time before you qualify for them.

Each active member will also be in the draw for a chance to win 10,000 points.

The Rewards

Something that stands out to me is that MySurvey provide a wide variety of rewards when you convert your points.

You can redeem them for money which is sent to your PayPal account, a bunch of different gift cards to your favorite online stores and even physical products that get shipped to your address (such as jewelry and electronics).

Before you can redeem your points for anything you will have to get at least 1200 points, which is $10.

How Much Money Can You Make With MySurvey?

Because they are only a survey company providing you the opportunity to make a little side cash, you will not make a whole lot of money per day with this system.

What I don’t like is that they spin this story about waking up, enjoying your cup of coffee and working from home for the day.

But this is not going to happen and it gives a false sense of direction because it makes people think they can quit their day job when this is not the case.

Even if you tried to complete as many surveys as possible on many different sites you still cannot quit your day job and I prove it in this article.

So how much money can you really earn with MySurvey?

A couple of dollars at most per day.

Is MySurvey a Scam?

MySurvey is one of the longest running survey companies on the planet and they don’t lie when they make that claim.

Before we move forward I would like to confirm that they are not a scam and they are running a legit business that pays their members.

However, they are definitely full of glitches and it’s causing people to run away from the site and never turning back.

Members are getting kicked out of surveys when they’ve almost finished only to tell them they do not qualify for it.

Sometimes they will start a survey, get halfway through and get screened out because there are too many people already taking the survey.

Other times members will COMPLETE the survey but the points won’t be shown in their accounts, so they’ve just invested their time and didn’t get anything in return!

They also ban a lot of people without any explanation whatsoever.

I mean, who wants to invest hours of their time per day, get close to withdrawing their money but suddenly get their account “inactive”?

No one!

The complaints just go on and on with MySurvey and for that reason I simply cannot recommend it at all.

What I Recommend

The owners at MySurvey try to make out their system is the latest and greatest thing since sliced bread, however, in my opinion it is old and outdated considering there are much better opportunities out there.

They continue to say that you need to be a professional to create a blog, write content, find freelancing jobs, create an app, etc.

Of course some of these you need to have some experience and knowledge up your sleeve, like creating an app or freelancing your skills, but building a website is the easiest it has ever been.

Little do they know, I am by no means a professional and I created this blog 1 year ago and making a consistent 4 figures per month.

I’m not saying this to brag or show off, I’m just saying that you do not need experience AT ALL to make money with a blog.
