Six Figure Mentors Breakdown

This system has training on marketing your own product or an affiliate marketing product if you don’t have one.

They want to show you how to be an online business owner by providing you with all the tools and training necessary.

There is a price to join and upgrade options available, however, be prepared to be bombarded with upsells

The free option allows you to market the SFM system itself as an affiliate marketer but this is only a good idea if you’ve had previous experience (there is only one training video as a free member).

Each paid option offers different training and tools, and the more expensive they get, the more in-depth training you receive.

One thing worth mentioning is that if you decided to purchase the lowest membership ($25/month), you will be pressured over and over again to upgrade to the next level, which is a HEFTY jump in price ($297 + $97/month)

How You Make Money

Six Figure Mentors is an affiliate marketing training platform, meaning you are trained on how to sell, whether that be someone else’s product and earn commissions, or your very own product.

What product you choose to promote, the rate of commissions and how many copies you can sell on a monthly basis all determines your income.

However, the SFM owners push this objective onto you that you should sell their product because they have high commissions.

This can be a problem when you’re only starting out, but I’ll talk more on that in a minute.

The big question on everyone’s mind is; is it going to work and make you a boatload of money if you opt for the higher packages?

Well that depends on how committed you are and how deep your wallet is.

You’re going to be spending thousands of dollars on paid advertising so you need to keep that in mind, which I’ll cover shortly.

The Training Courses

Okay, so by now you’re probably wondering what the hell you’re actually purchasing if you’re paying thousands of dollars for some “online training”.

Well the training modules come in different courses.

These courses range from Facebook ads, Twitter ads, LinkedIn ads, Google search basics, WordPress SEO, blogging basics, and much more.

They offer a total of 42 courses, all designed to help you create a successful online business.

Each course has video tutorials and a quiz at the end to test your memory on what you just learned.

If you don’t pass the quiz, you have to watch the video again until you get the questions right.

This is a new type of training I haven’t seen before, and might I add that it will make the learning curve much faster and easier considering you can’t skip videos you don’t feel like watching.

So Why Pay When There’s Free Information?

Some people might ask – why should you pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars on something you can find for free on Google?

Well, you’re paying for convenience, training that’s been put together by actual millionaires who know how to make 6 figures online.

That’s the difference between not paying anything, searching on Google, getting overwhelmed and then not taking action at all.

And that’s usually what happens with wannabe internet marketers, too much consuming of information and not enough ACTION.

Can You Choose Your Own Niche?

First let me point out that yes, you can choose your own niche and own affiliate product to promote (or your own if you have one).

Secondly, their primary object – just like yours – is to make as much money as possible.

So they will try and get you to sell the same product you just bought.

The higher the package you purchased, the higher your commissions will be.

Usually what happens is newbies will jump in, get excited to start, go through the training and choose exactly the same niche as everyone else.

Suddenly there’s an influx of people selling the same thing through the same traffic sources.

You don’t stand out and you’ll just look like another desperate guy training to make money online by selling a dream, a dream you just purchased.

It’s kind of like a pyramid scheme, well, borderline.

They actually have real courses with good value, so they are lucky in this aspect.

But to answer the question; yes you can choose your own niche but you’ll be pressured to market the system you just bought.

Six Figure Mentors Flaws

Full of Upsells

From the minute you step foot in the door, you are bombarded with upsells.

And I mean BOMBARDED, over and over again just so you will give in to their scheme and hand over even more money.

This becomes a big problem because the majority who join and pay for one of these high-ticket memberships, they make little to no money.

They are thousands of dollars deep into this system already, so they might as well spend more since they’re eventually going to make money, right?

Not necessarily, but these people don’t know that and that’s why most who join lose all their money.

And you know who the ultimate winners are? The top 1-2% and the owners.

Low Commission Rates

5-10% commission rates are downright daylight robbery.

This means 90% of the money goes straight to the owners!

So if you bring someone in and they buy the highest membership ($20,000), this means you get $2000 and the owners get a whopping $18,000 for doing nothing.

You did all the hard work yet you get paid pennies.

It should be 50/50 since they wouldn’t have had that sale and you brought the person into the system.

They want you to sell the same system you just bought

From the get go you are fed this dream of living the lavish lifestyle, and they make your primary objective to sell the SFM system itself and earn commissions.

Now there is nothing wrong with this, however, they make it sound like it’s the best thing you could do considering the high commission rates.

But it’s not as easy as that.

High price = more difficult to persuade people to join.

You’ll actually lose motivation due to no sales and no traction in your online business.

If you do decide to invest in the training at SFM, try to promote a program more affordable to the average person because that’s who your ideal target is going to be.

Hidden Cost

Along with the thousands of dollars you’ll be paying for the membership comes a hidden cost we all know and hate, it is paid advertising.

Paid advertising without training is a risky concept and you’ll actually lose money before making any back.

Fortunately that’s without training.

SFM specialize in paid advertising, and whether you’ll make money on your first campaign is unknown, nothing is guaranteed in this world so I can’t promise you anything.

Your first campaign might be a flop, but your second might make you profit or even some money back.

The variables is that every website is different, all traffic is different and all products and everyone’s needs are different.

All I’m saying is, don’t expect to laugh all your way to the bank cause you’ll quickly be disappointed.

My Honest Opinion on SFM

Six Figure Mentors is not only a high-ticket program, but they have an even more expensive hidden cost and your chances of making enough money to live a lavish lifestyle it extremely slim.

All they want to do is squeeze as much money out of you as possible, which is why they pressure you to upgrade.

Yes, SFM does have quality training and it’s all in one place for your convenience, but is it worth the price?

Absolutely not.

All the information can be found for free on the internet, you’re just paying for its convenience in an orderly fashion, that is all.

It is not worth $20,000, $2500 or even $297.

But will you learn a lot? Yes.

Will you make money? Maybe.

Will you end up spending more than you make? More than likely.

The bottom line is this: it is not a scam, it is an over priced affiliate marketing training platform designed to take your money and get you to invite others to make even more money off of them.

It is too pricey and not recommended in my books.

What I Actually Recommend

You do not need to pay thousands of dollars to build a successful online business.

In fact, the website you’re on right now is run by me and only me, and it’s my full-time job.

I did not pay thousands of dollars, nowhere near that price in fact.

My recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate and it’s an affiliate training platform as well, but 1000x better in my opinion.

The training is step-by-step and there are absolutely no hidden costs.

I was skeptical at first but with the free trial, it was a no brainer.

I dived right in and never looked back.

Well that concludes my Six Figure Mentors review.

I hope you learned a thing or 2 about the internet marketing industry and high-ticket programs.

Please, leave all your questions and concerns in the comments below!

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

  1. The up sells sound like they would really bother me. Thanks for the heads-up about that.

I am doing wealthy affiliate now. I had some high paying jobs out of college but I did not like that kind of Lifestyle and I always wanted to be some kind of blogger or something like that making lots of money writing online. I am only on my first week so I hope that it works.

I couldn’t imagine paying $20,000 for something like that. That is so much money. I feel like $50 a month for wealthy affiliate is doable. It is $600 a year plus the cost of domain names so I hope that I break even. Once I break even And to make my first $400 then I’m going to buy the yearly membership for only $320 and buy another domain or two.

    1. Hey Charles, good to see you taking action on something and pursuing your dream of being a full-time blogger.

They say the one little thing between the successors and the failures is that successors give themselves enough time.

Failures give up before seeing any fruitful results. Keep going, keep moving forward and I have no doubts that you can do it!

      Good luck my friend.

  2. Hello Brandon!

Thank you for taking the time in posting this article. From now on, it is not only not recommended in your book but also in everyone else who is reading this post right now. Thank you for making sure that we know what we are getting ourselves into and yes I too have been in tons and tons of these programs, but, wealthy affiliate seems to be the best option there is out there.

Once again thank you for making this post. I am sure that all of your other posts will be helping people as well.

  3. Hello there, thanks for taking your time to put up this really nice review on six figure mentors. From your review it appears all i have heard about this site isn’t false. The program is quite nice to try but as you have said for someone who has lots of money to risk. Personally, the risk involved in this business is quite high I wouldn’t want to try it. Thanks for for time, I look forward to seeing more of your post
