Have you ever wondered whether working 40 hours per week (or sometimes even more) is really worth it in the end?
I know I have.
Millions of people all over the globe think about their future, think about what is next in life, wonder if this is truly it, etc.
Then they freak out when they realize there IS nothing to look forward to because they just feel like they’re on autopilot and nothing is going to change.
In this article I will break down the figures then let you decide what you want to do next.
Because chances are – since you landed on this article – is that you are not happy with your current life situation and want something to change.
Lets get into it my good friend, and be sure to stay till the end because I have a surprise for you.
What you get for working 40 hours per week
When you work 40 hours per week you are likely a wage worker.
You receive a monthly paycheck (sometimes weekly/fortnightly) for the amount of hours you put in.
The income you receive is based on how good you are at your job, how much profits you are making the company and how difficult the position is.
You use that paycheck to pay for monthly expenses so you can continue to live life.
These expenses range from phone bill, food, gas and electricity, car payment and other hire purchases, etc.
When everything is paid for, you are left with a certain amount.
Again, what you are left with is different for everyone.
Often times you are left with little to nothing
Often times so many people in this world are left with little to nothing to spend on themselves, and this is where the problem lies.
We are SUPPOSE TO ENJOY LIFE WHILE WE ARE HERE, however, when we’re working non-stop just to put food on the table or make the company we are working for rich, where does that leave us?
Sad and depressed because we are on autopilot and nothing great is coming out of it for us!
We continue to work because we are told by society that it is the right thing to do, but at the end of the day we aren’t happy and we almost hate everyday.
Of course this might seem exaggerated for some, but for most people (according to stats, 70% of people hate their job), this hits close to home.
We simply have no money to do anything in life, or when we do, there is no time to spend it because we are constantly working.
What I personally think
“Brandon, you’ve told us the figures, told us the stats, told us we are just putting food on the table and not having any money for ourselves, but what do you think of it all?”
Personally, I think this is okay IF we actually have money and time for ourselves.
The weekend should be to enjoy ourselves and to actually spend time with family and friends.
Heck, even the weekdays should be for enjoying ourselves too, but we never have time since we have to look after kids, run errands, cook dinner, etc, and we are lucky if we have time for the gym.
But when do we have alone time? Almost never.
Most people are living to work and not working to live. Prove me wrong in the comment section below if you disagree.
So to conclude this, do I think working 40 hours per week is worth it?
No, and here’s why.
Time is limited, extremely limited my friend.
When we are working for others we are making their dreams come true and not our own.
We are allowing THEM to live their best live while we are slaves to the system and making everyone else rich.
And it’s not even about being rich if that’s what you think.
It’s not about having all the money in the world, at the end of the day it is about having time to truly live life how you want and not be tied down to restrictions.
Because let me tell you friend, that it is 100% possible for anyone to have more money so you have more time for yourself.
Money doesn’t buy happiness, but money does buy you time and freedom, and with that comes happiness.
Everyone I know is their happiest when they’re free and have no stresses in life and nothing to worry about.
Financial freedom = freedom = less stress = happiness. It’s been proven time and time again.
You Can Get The Exact Same With Passive Income
Did you know there are thousands, well actually millions of people in this world making the same amount and even more than you’re making with passive income?
You see, being an employee means you get active income, but passive income is earning money passively.
So you put in the work now but get rewarded weeks and sometimes even months down the line.
However, that passive income flow continues to make you money for years to come.
The true secret to financial freedom so you have more time for yourself and family is by creating passive income flows.
You do not earn money just for the hours you put in; the hours you put in now make you money forever.
Theses little bits of work you put in now make add up to big results later.
It is sacrificing your time now for more time in the future, and when you keep at it you will soon be receiving enough money to not even work a normal job anymore.
You heard that correctly my friend.
Check the name of my website if you haven’t already, it’s called Job Quitters Unite.
I’m all for quitting jobs and living life without limits and restrictions.
You are now in good hands and I am here to look after you because I know exactly how you feel and it’s time to do something with this newfound information and make something good come out of it.
Your First Passive Income Flow
Your first step to financial freedom is getting your first passive income flow up and running.
And what I like about this passive flow is that it has room for immense growth, meaning it can be your one and only passive income flow to replace your job.
It is creating a website, getting it ranked in the search engines (don’t worry, it’s not as technical as you think), receiving traffic like clockwork and earning commissions.
It’s actually a lot simpler than you might think but definitely worth it since you can have more time and freedom for yourself.
