My Cash Bar Review – Legit But Don’t Expect To Quit Your Day Job

Whether you’re wanting to make a few pennies, a few dollars or even a few thousand dollars on the internet, one thing’s for sure.

It’s never easy and if you get lucky you’ll only make a few pennies.

However, smart work and persistence will always triumph luck within the online world.

Luck is what most people hold on to because they don’t know how to make money and get rich the right way.

Buying lotto tickets is a great example here.

But enough of that, we’re going off-topic.

I’m here to see exactly what this system is so both you and I can get a good handle on what it is all about.

Enjoy my review on My Cash Bar.

About My Cash Bar

Who Created this System

My Cash Bar seems to be in an English format upon entering their site.

However, upon further investigation I can clearly see that their program is in the French language.

This leads me to believe that the owner is in fact from France and speaks French.

The traffic received per month seems to be on a downward spiral.

Most of their visitors are from Russia – 14.45%, coming in behind them is Brazil, which is at 13.01%

They aren’t receiving any traffic from the search engines, so most of these visitors are from referrals (blogs, forums, etc) and social media.

When did it Launch

According to their official Facebook page, it was launched around June 2016.

All posts on the FB page are in French as well.

Their privacy policy also states that this is where they’re based.

Their Claims

The owners of My Cash Bar claim that you can make money without doing anything other than doing what you do best. which is surfing your favorite websites.

Basically, download and install the “MyCashBar” program, then earn while you surf.

Is it really that easy and a legit way of making money?

Lets find out.

So What Exactly is My Cash Bar?

My Cash Bar is all about downloading their software and earning while you surf.

They have advertisers who pay them money, which in turn makes you money as long as you have the software active.

The owners show the customers “ad” through the main banner (to you, the user).

Whether you click on these ads or not it doesn’t matter because you will earn otherwise.

The ads are 2 banners that show up in your browser.

They don’t even get in the way to be honest.

How to Earn & How Much Can You Make?

Active Banner

While you have the banners active and you’re surfing the web, you accumulate points.

You gain 1 point per minute.

All points are converted into money at the end of the month and can be paid out depending if you’ve reached the minimum payout or not.

The minimum payout is $5 for PayPal and Payza, and $20 for check.

The total amount you can earn JUST from having the bar active is $2.73.

How do I come up with this figure? 60 minutes x 24 hours x 31 days = 44640 points.

Of course this number can change drastically.

It’s just a matter of how much money the advertisers are paying at the point in time.

If they pay more, conversion rates go high. If they’re paying low, conversion rates go low.

In addition to the money earned from having the banner active as much as possible, there are bonuses that pop up every now and then.

It says: “CLICK BONUS”, and you get a random 10-1000 points each time.

They do have a referral system in place.

The more people you have signed up under you the more money you make.

You will definitely not earn much from having the banner active alone, but when you have referrals, you get 20% of all points they earn for life.

Referrals go 5 levels deep.

As you can see from the picture above, having 25 active referrals under your belt will earn you over half the amount of what you’ll get from using My Cash Bar yourself.

However, this also means more work needs to be done to get a more passive income flow.

Are People Really Making Money?

Yes they are, surprisingly.

I’ve done a lot of research on this program because I like to know whether these things are worth getting into or not.

Lots of users on forums, blogs and social media have nothing but nice things to say about My Cash Bar.

I’ve yet to find a negative review!

I have no other choice but to say that they are indeed paying their members and I have no issues with them at this point in time.

Any Red Flags?

The good news is that I did not find any red flags regarding their software, website or even payments.

Everyone seems to enjoy what they offer, which has certainly surprised me since I thought it was a big fat scam right from the get-go.

This just goes to show that you should NEVER judge a book by its cover.

Just because something looks like a scam, it isn’t always going to be.

The owners are out to serve their members well and pay on time, and that’s all that matters.

Does it Cost to Join?

No, it is completely free to join and use My Cash Bar.

You can join their official website here:

You will need to download and install the software before you can create an account.

The language to install the software is in French, however, after that it goes back to English (it’s really not that hard to find your way around either).

Pros and Cons

  • Can earn money
  • Completely passive income – no actions required on your part

  • Their English is quite bad (Which usually means they’re a scam. I was wrong)
  • Takes a long time to earn minimum payout ($5)
  • Will require hundreds of active referrals if you want the big bucks

Is My Cash Bar a Scam?

Thankfully it is not a scam and shows no signs of turning into a scam in the future.

The advertisers are happy, the members are happy and so are the owner(s).

They pay the correct amount on time and as promised.

So as I’m currently writing this review, they are 100% legit.

If that happens to change in the future, this review will be updated as needed 🙂

What I Really Think

Of course you already know earnings are low and you will not make enough to quit your day job.

I don’t settle for pennies.

I settle for bigger and better things, and that means creating things I OWN instead of using other peoples programs to make them rich.

As we all know, what we don’t own we have no control over.

This means if My Cash Bar decides to do the dirty and take off with everyone’s money, your earnings go to 0 and so does future payments.

However, if you have your own website that simply cannot happen.

You own it so you have control of everything, how much you earn and how much of an influence you have on your audience.

To me that is 100x worth more than a measly few dollars a month.

So if you’re ready to start making pennies, go here for My Cash Bar.

Or if you’re ready to take your online business to the next level (where you make the big bucks), go to my #1 recommendation.

Well thanks for reading.

Please leave your experiences with My Cash Bar below, otherwise have a great day!

  1. This is a great post and awesome website, its full of insights and I will bookmark this and return often. keep up the great work.

  2. Very interesting article. I have to admit to being surprised that it seems legit. But like you, I think I’ll give it a pass. Also like you, I prefer my own website that I control, and can potentially make a fair amount of money from.
I have checked out your number one choice, Wealthy Affiliate, and found that really meets my needs. Especially for someone not all that computer savvy, like me.
But I will continue to check out your reviews of other ways to make money online! I appreciate the time you take to scope out other sources of revenue, and will continue to follow you! Thanks.

    • It certainly does look like a big scam, but unfortunately even though it’s legit, it is by no means a big money-maker.

It is actually just a penny maker and that’s it. I had the banner up for about 6-7 hours (can’t remember how long exactly), but now that the month is over this is how much I earned: $0.01.

Yes, that is indeed 1 cent for having a big banner in my way while I try surf the net for a long period of time. In my opinion it is just not worth it.

  3. Brandon, that is a great review you’ve done of ‘My Cash Bar’. I had never heard of it and when starting to read your review I expected the outcome to be that ‘My Cash Bar’ is a scam.

It was really good to read that this program is not a scam, and that money can be earned from it. However, the earnings are so low that I don’t think I will choose to go with ‘My Cash Bar’.

I like your #1 recommendation for earning online as I’m sure that with the correct approach, a reasonable income can be earned from the ‘Wealthy Affiliate’ program.

    • Haha, it sure as hell looks like a scam!

Earnings are way too low, even though it is passive income I still don’t recommend it. There are much better ways to earn money online.

Thanks for the comment, Valerie. I hope you have a great day.

  4. Hi Brandon
Thanks for this review. I’m always looking for ways to earn passive income but, like you’ve pointed out, some of the options available aren’t worth the time and energy. You’ve done the dirty work reviewing cash bar and I can see real value doing future posts similar to this. People are concerned that about sites being legit.

    • Yes. There are scams out there that need exposing. I’m just blessed to expose them so people know to stay away from them before wasting money and more importantly; time.

  5. So let me get this straight. This software just really takes what you are looking at and builds a profile about you.

I don’t think this is for me because of that reason, but also for the small returns. It may work for a very group of people who have joined and do earn a lot, but I wonder how much that they have had to work for it.

Also, with the searches going down it doesn’t look promising to me.

It looks pretty much like doing surveys, which I have found to be not very profitable.

    • Owain, all it is is a software that shows up in your browser. You earn money JUST from keeping it active.

The only way to earn large amounts of money with it is through referrals, but then those referrals actually have to be actively using it so you earn 20% of what they earn.

The downward spiral of traffic is a lot concerning, I do agree. However, as long as they continue to stay legit that’s all that matters.

  6. This review is a very interesting one. I like how you researched that site, found it not to be scam, which lets people make their own decisions. That is to make just pennies, or to make dollars, and my choice is WA to have my own control, good job.

    • Great choice. It is way better to have complete control over your own business rather than hoping to become rich through referrals. Because at any moment they can shut the site down and leave you with nothing. It happens and it’s sad because there is so much time put into them.

  7. I really like how in depth your reviews and content is, makes it an easy read which is making an easy decision for me. You have involved everything from your thoughts to scams, thank you!

  8. Great review Brandon! You know it is really hard to find real ways to make money online and avoiding sites that pretty much are scams. If I saw this site on my own I would probably just run the other way thinking that it was a scam. Nice to hear that it is not, but the time it takes for a payout seems to be not worth the effort.

I like your part on what you really think. I agree that not having real control over a program like that versus having your own website really leaves you with no sense of control. I used a survey site a few months ago and earned about 10 dollars and then after a few months the site seemed to just go dead. Didn’t get my money out of that one! I much prefer a site like Wealthy Affiliate that gives you the tools and puts you in control of making money online.

    • I wholeheartedly agree. The payout VS time used is just not worth it, as many have pointed out already.

Damn, sorry for your survey site experience. That is the reality these days and a perfect example of what we are dealing with. People just seem to take their sites down when they’ve made enough money–OR, in most cases–become exposed so they have no choice but to shut down.

  9. No one should expect a huge payout for doing nothing. Big returns equal hard work…when it becomes a multi-level marketing – an enterprise with great recruitment and sustainment challenge.
But even if you say it’s not a scam,(which I’m glad they’re not) it’s still going to be hard to convince people that it isn’t. Great and honest review! Thanks!

    • Each to their own mate. You either want pennies or you want the big bucks. The big bucks come from hard work and pennies come from doing hardly anything, as you so bluntly put it.

It doesn’t matter if it is a scam or not – I still don’t recommend it 😛

  10. Cool review, if people are making cash I’m interested. I am always browsing and surfing the web. So if I can make a passive income by having it activated, then I’m game.

Do you know if it will slow down my browser when I have it activated?

  11. I must admit that when I first heard about making money on the internet, I thought it would be easy on my own. After trying two different ways to make money online, I realized that getting the right training is very important for my online success. Oh how I wish I could find well written reviews like this one. After reading a review like this on My Cash Bar, I have no hesitation choosing your #1 recommendation. I will surely share this post.

  12. This is very useful! I have myself been trying to make money online via different apps similar to this. There are a lot of scams out there so this is a very useful website. I’ll make sure to bookmark it! Not all apps are scams as you say and I have gotten paid through similar apps, but the pay is pretty insignificant and its not worth it. I definitely agree that having your own website is the way to go! Then you have full control over your earnings and how much work you want to put in. It does take a bit of effort and time but it’s 100% more worth it and the earnings are way higher in the long run! Keep up the good work!

    • Yep, there are thousands of apps and software programs that actually do pay you for your efforts, however, even when used simultaneously there is still not enough money to be made.

These little “penny makers” take your eye off the MAIN prize, which is where the big money is made. Thanks for the comment 🙂

  13. Nice review. I came across it one day and just saw red flags. Didn’t give it really a chance or tried it. The profit is quite low but I guess when you are trying to make money online anything you get is something.

    • Thank you for sharing your experiences with My Cash Bar.

Well when I reviewed this system there were no red flags. Maybe they had a more “shady” website when you first checked them out? Well at least they are legit and that’s all that matters.

  14. Hi Brandon,

Yes, you are right, bad English is usually a sign of a scam. However, Cash Bar reminds me of another ‘get paid to surf’ online opportunity, but, they do take too long to earn anything.

But still, getting paid to surf – which is something we all do anyways – is an ingenious idea! 🙂 . Alas, my dear friends, you will never make enough to quit your day job! For most, it is just pocket money and that will only buy you some sweets.

Thank you kindly as I was wondering if I should join with them or not so your article really laid it out for me. I think I might to see if I can get a few hundred referrals. Problem is though, the bounce rate for your referrals, can be very high when they realize how long it takes to earn just a cents per time, if that, and will leave from despondency. Well, I am off to find out and thanks again Brandon!

    • You are right, there are definitely a lot of them out there. And even when used for months you might only earn enough for a beer or 2. It’s just a matter of fact.

I’m not keen on making pennies so I won’t waste my time on it. However, others who want small change might find it useful for them. Because real money can definitely be made with it.

But like you said, don’t expect to quit your day job :p

    • Nope, they are not a scam but definitely not on my recommended list.

Why do you think they’re a scam, Marco? I’m interested to know.
