Sign up in 10 seconds and make money online? Is it really possible to make easy money like they claim?
I am no stranger to survey sites, and I know for a fact that making money online isn’t easy.
Fortunately survey sites are a great way to make quick cash and that’s what attracted me to PrizeRebel.
I went on a mission to find out makes this survey site so good and why they claim they are the #1 survey site since 2007.
Anyone can make those claims, but results speak louder than words so lets discover what they are really about in this PrizeRebel review.

Website type: GTP (get-paid-to) complete tasks
Best For: Extra income seekers and newbies
The Verdict: Legit!
What Is PrizeRebel?
PrizeRebel was launched in 2007 and has been a trusted survey site since.
As of today, they have paid out $19 million dollars since they opened their doors in 2007.
It is a GTP site (get-paid-to), meaning you get paid to complete tasks and earn rewards for your time and energy.
These tasks range from completing surveys, watching videos, watching ads, etc.
The more tasks you complete, the more rewards you earn.
This is nothing new as there are hundreds of these online, and most of them don’t even pay you much for your time and energy.
PrizeRebel has so much great reviews and I want to know why!
I can see from their main page, they have a much more simplistic approach than other survey sites.
They aim to keep their site as basic as possible for easy navigation for newbies.
The Points System
So the currency used in PrizeRebel is called “points”.
Each survey or task you complete, you are rewarded with a specific amount of points.
The amount of points you earn are determined by the type of task you’re completing.
Some pay more, some pay less, the downside is that they don’t tell you how long a task takes to complete.
You might try a task thinking it’s going to take 10 minutes and you have to leave in 10 minutes, but it ends up taking 20 minutes.
When you reach a certain amount of points you can exchange them for rewards, but more on that soon.
They also have account levels which are statuses that you reach for earning points.
To upgrade your level you just need to earn points.
- Bronze (starer level)
- Silver – Requires 1000 points
- Gold – Requires 4500 points
- Platinum – Requires 10000 points
- Diamond – Requires 16000 points
Each level offers different benefits which you can see in the table below.
The Referral System
The referral system is actually much better than other survey sites.
Some survey sites will reward you once for bringing someone in.
This can be a $5 reward and that is all. You’re not rewarded for ongoing tasks they complete.
To be quite frank, that is not enough reward and certainly a waste of time and energy trying to bring those people in.
You’re bringing someone in that they wouldn’t have got otherwise, so you need to be rewarded properly.
Fortunately PrizeRebel does that so well!
You earn 15% of your referral earnings just for starting out.
So basically, if you have 100 referrals earning at least 100 points EACH (10,000 points), you’ll earn 1500 points.
If they keep coming back daily, you could earn a good amount of passive income.
Of course those are extreme numbers but not impossible. With a targeted blog you should be able to recruit lots of referrals.
And this is only the starter level. Diamond level gives you 30% of your referrals points!
The points you get from completing tasks can be exchanged for rewards.
The rewards to choose from are: gift cards (literally hundreds to choose from), online game points and PayPal cash.
500 points = $5
So a $5 gift card will cost you 500 points, while a $5 cash out to PayPal will also cost you 500 points.
One thing I find interesting is that they have $1-$5 rewards!
Most survey sites require at least a minimum amount of 500-1000 points, but this allows people to get their earnings even at $2.
How to Sign Up
Signing really is easy as 1, 2, 3, as they so bluntly put it.
When you land on their website, you can register by entering your email, first name, last name and password.
Otherwise there is an option to register via Facebook.
When you register, just confirm your email address by clicking the link in your email and you’re ready to complete tasks/make money.
What Makes PrizeRebel Stand Out?
There are a lot of things that stood out to me compared to its competitors.
These things actually piqued my interest and now I might actually do some surveys. Heck, it’s easy money, why not!
1. Easy Navigation
It was so easy to find my way around.
Everything is bright and colorful so you know where to look and what you’re looking for.
It’s not too colorful to the point it’s overwhelming, it’s enough to make it fun to use.
2. Low Minimum Payout
They don’t lie when you say you can make money today.
The low minimum payout means you can pretty much withdrawal your earnings as soon as you finish 2 surveys.
3. Lots of Tasks Available
Every time I visit a GPT site, I always look to see how much tasks are available.
It allows me to see how much money I can earn per day by completing the tasks.
Most sites I visit have minuscule tasks and you can’t earn much per day.
Well I like that PrizeRebel has a range of things to do, making earning money daily a possibility.
Pros and Cons
- Easy to use. The site is easy to use and you can find your way around fairly easily
- Can make money today. You can begin making money the day you sign up
- Low minimum payout. The minimum payout is only $2. You can actually withdrawal your earnings the day you sign up!
- Wide range of gift cards. They reward members with gift cards, PayPal cash AND online gaming cards
- Great referral system. Their referral system is much better than others I’ve seen
- Won’t make you a millionaire. Even though money can be made, it’s not going to make you rich
- Bad customer support. Lots of angry customers all over the internet say the customer service is bad
- Spam emails. It’s not uncommon for the advertisers to spam you with promotional emails. To combat this use a throwaway email or one you don’t use often
Is It a Scam or Can You Make Real Money Online?
There are lots of great reviews for this website and that’s what attracted it to me in the first place.
The second thing that attracted me was the amount of surveys and minimum payout threshold.
There are some cons, such as the promotional emails and bad customer support, but in my opinion those aren’t a deal breaker
And even though you won’t become rich filling out surveys, you’re not supposed to.
These types of sites are designed to earn you extra money, not a living wage. And it does that so well.
Plus if you get lots of referrals, you can make a nice passive income 🙂
I love PrizeRebel as it is one of the more rewarding “Get-Paid-To” sites out there and one that pays well for your time and energy.
No, PrizeRebel is not a scam and you can make a good amount of daily income if you stay active.
How Much Money Can You Realistically Earn With Survey Sites?
I have done the figures, counted the number of hours you can realistically work in a day and I have come up with my own conclusion.
You can earn around $20 per day if you diversify over multiple different survey sites.
And that also means that you will be working 10 hours a day and earning a minimum of $2 an hour.
However, working 10 hours a day on survey sites is not possible when you have a full time job.
So REALISTICALLY you could earn $2-$4 a day completing surveys as long as you have a couple of hours to spare.
Not bad money if you ask money.
That’s $1460 a year. Now you know what’s going to pay for your next vacation! 🙂
What Do I Recommend?
For me, gone are the days of completing small tasks for a couple of bucks here and there.
Personally I think it’s not worth it when there are other ways of making 100x that amount.
I was sick of working hours a day for a couple dollars, so I went out to find other means of income.
Sure, you can make money but you’re not going to quit your job (which is what I wanted).
After a couple years of joining scams and get-rich-quick schemes I finally found a legit way to make money online.
As in, a real online business that I own and makes me passive income.
It is called a website and has the potential to make $5000+ per month.
Yes I am in the 4-figure per month mark but that didn’t come easy.
It takes lots of work and dedication, but investing your time in something that can make you thousands of dollars per month down the line is MUCH more worth your time than completing tasks.
And that’s why I recommend you start your own online business today, for free, no strings attached.
See you on the other side 🙂 🙂 🙂
